i go to the layer with the mario render, and select the area near the bottom of his cart, right click, feather at 1px, but it doesnt seem to be doing any thing.

Yeah, you have to hit delete a few times after that bit, Lol!
And second sig is ok, but the render doesnt rly go with the background.. :-)

i do hit delete, but i looks the same no matter how many times i hit it,

Nice one, try adding some brushes to your sigs now. Also, how about a border :)

Nice, I like the spiderman over the border.
Have you tried putting them in the directory?
Program Files > Adobe > PS CS2 > Presets > Brushes - Drag and Drop to there, then restart PS. :-D

It's ok. Have a look at some tuts on Guild Inn and work on some brushing now; just smudging gets boring after a while.

Nice job, on the second one, move the white line, behind the render.
