I have been using dvd shrink for about 2 months now and I was wondering if the extras on a dvd can be removed all together. I have used custom compression to compress it down as far as it will go, but how do I remove them completly from the compilation? Thanks for any help.

You can reauthor and drop all the extras, but this will drop all menu's as well. Then you just get the movie and have less compression..

to configurate the subtitules an the lenguage audio , i know that i can do that from mi control remote but its look better ´when i got the menus even when only theres a few things to configurate whit them

you can't keep the menus and completly remove the extra w/ DVD Shrink. you can with x copy.. or in DVD Shrink if you select the extra file individualy you can compress them down to STILL PICTURE which will only be a few MB.. best way is to just drop the menus, cuz how often do you actually change the spoken language or subtitles ??

I agree with smokedawg ....just drop the menu's the dvd will just start as the dvd is placed into the dvd player and closed ......on the DVD Shrink issue wasn't sure so said nowt

but if i did compress two of the extra features down to still picture EVERYTHING else would function normally?

yes everything else will work fine..
the extras will still show in the menu, but when selected it will just flash a few screenshots that were in the extra video footage..

you should just copy the movie only- then just hit the language or subtitle buttons on the dvd player (or l3 and r3 on ps2) remote to cycle lanugaes and subs

you can also use "dvd stripper". It will allow you to remove what you want and keep the rest. its free now so you can d/l it fom the net.You can keep the menus and drop all the extras(if you want) so it will fit on one dvd. very good program

That depends on how you remove them.. and also the player.. some players may give an error message others may just lock up and have to be restarted.
