I am new to ripping DVDs and started with DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 5 and it has worked great. I want to upgrade to latest version but noticed there is no "uninstall" option to remove to older version. Will the new versions recognize the older version on installation and write over it or is there a way to delete the old version before new version is installed.

Hi Laboy
What i do is download the version into my document files instal the version. When they update it i delete the version by going into the add and remove programme click to highlight DVD Shrink then delete. Then i reboot the pc ( just something i always do when i delete programmes )and instal the new version but i still have the older versions of shrink ready to be installed in case there are any problems with the newer version
Regards

Please .. keep it simple: You have a version of the program, leave it alone. Install the new version of the program in a different directory. If both icons have same name, just add the Ver # that way you know which one you want to run. Right right .. can't do this with EVERY piece of software .. but you can w/ lots of them.
Peace
