Everything I use Shrink I get a copyright warning when backing up a dvd and trying to do a full disk copy. So I have to use Decrypter and then shrink. It takes forever. Why am I getting a copyright warning?

Sigh... Next problem. I adjust the green bar in shrink so its not even all green and no where near full, still when I click backup it says space required 3,888mb and space available 2489mb... I thought my dvd R disk was like 4.7 gb???? WHen I click ok to try and burn, it says there is not enough space on your target drive... I have spent like 6 hours now trying to figure this out. Anyone have any suggestions?

NOT A DVD Shrink nut I prefer DVD Decrypter but I believe it is in your settings somewere how big you want the total dvd to be and remember its something like 4435 or 4436 MB not 4.7 as stated on the disc .....thats going of the japanese version of megabytes were 1000 is a gig ......
were as in the western world 1024 is a gig

its 4.35 or 4.36 gig in total that may be then 4443 megs

but if you stay with 4436 meg or 4435 meg I am pretty certain ya will be safe

got the second part of the problem fixed. I did not have enough hard drive space to backup the DVD. So that problem is solved. Still have the Copyright protection problem. I have to use decrypter first, then I have to use shrink to open the files and then back them up, then burn them... so basically I am wasting tons of time. Someone said to try playing the main movie while backing up, I will see if that works. I am suprised I am the only one having the copyright protection problem with Shrink.

depends upon the dvd DVD Shrink sometimes does that to Me still .......
after you DVD Decrypter it you will have to DVD2ONE it to take out the 'Text file and place the bup files in'...THEN burn it but make sure you have enuff HD space first or your wasting your time

I have this problem too! I open it with decrypter then i close before ripping, straight back into shrink and it's fine then!
