Yes it's true.. and I don't think Sony will have a good market for PS3 if it's not hacked. They can't make good money in asia if it's not hacked. Not trying to stereotype, but you guys should go to Asia and see what happens there. And Sony is doing business, they don't really care about games piracy.

I personally think, it's just a marketing strategy of Sony. They're just holding it back to beat the rivals like 360. We can see from the specs, PS3 is 3 times stronger than 360. And the games developer are not making full use of BD disc yet. They're not stupid to use BD for 4 Gb games. They're just making us think (for now) that 360 is a rival to them
while actually it's NOT !!
It's clear that PS3 is much more powerful
People now are waiting until it get hacked and good games are coming out.
And when it's about time, I think the "pirates" will be from within Sony itself.
Imagine guys,, it's gonna be a BOOOOOOM in PS3 selling. It's just about time until Sony makes a move.
They even design PS4 already. While PS3 is actually still the most powerful console on earth which even microsoft xbox 360 can't even touch. They're doing things ahead of others. They have PS4 as backup plans just in case microsoft defeats PS3 one day.
It's all about business to Sony, it's not about playing games like most people see.

? Who the hell cares about specs? Its only numbers and words.
Its what the games are like that matters and if you think that Piracy will help sony or that sony will assist pirating games you are very wrong.
The developers that make these games make their money off these games, these games get pirated the developers lose money and therefore will withold making games for the Playstation 3 for fear of it being mass pirated and in the end, no good games will be made for the ps3.
They havent designed the PS4 already, maybe a few ideas but no design, the ps3 is scheduled to have a long lifespan of upto 8 years (Alongside the ps4 in the later years).
No one is naive enough to think sony are in for it for people to play games and have fun they are there to make money just as the developers.
This thread was ridiculous. I tuned in hoping to read some breaking news for the PS3 mod scene but no. I recommend keeping your fanboy topic and specs to IGN forums where it belongs or at least title your thread appropriately.
