Hi I am considering buying a PS3, I live in australia and want to know what I am buying...

I know a little bit about the 4 consoles

Here are a few questions about the 3 consoles

80GB
Can it play PS2/PS1 games (excluding the PStore) Because I heard it only EMULATES the games and like 80% work?
Does it come with Dualshock 3 or SIXAXIS?
Can I replace the HDD with the 500GB model?

60GB
Does it come with Dualshock 3 or SIXAXIS?
Can I replace the HDD with the 500GB model?

40GB
Can it play PS2/PS1 games (excluding the PStore)?
Does it come with Dualshock 3 or SIXAXIS?
Can I replace the HDD with the 500GB model?

20GB
Does it come with Dualshock 3 or SIXAXIS?
Can I replace the HDD with the 500GB model?

Also is there really a silver version of the PS3? or is it a fake?

Yes, you can put a 500gig in any of them.

If you have an opportunity to pick up a 60gb in good condition - that is the best one available. I do love my backwards compatibility though...

wait im confused... so your saying that there is two versions of the 80GB model and only 1 of them can play like 84.98% of PS2 games? Also I want one of these SILVER PS3's and was wondering whether I should get It or pay an extra $200 for a Piano Black 60GB? I like silver better but I really want to play all my good ol' PS2 Games. Also Is AU$650 a good price for a silver PS3 60GB? Should I pay an extra AU$50 for a Pack with MGS4? (Like this one?)

I would not worry about the color. There are wicked skins that you can order to put on your PS3.
