I just burned a backup copy of "Wall-E" onto a DVD-RW disc to be sure it would play and not give me another beverage coaster.
It played through fine, and now I want to burn it to a DVD-R disc. How can I do this without going through the entire Shrink process again? I have the following files from the initial burning:
I downloaded ImgBurn, and along with the AfterDawn ImgBurn guide, it worked fine, aside from some minor snags I encountered.
For anyone trying to do the same thing who reads this thread, here are the additional steps I had to take, but be aware that I use the "Reauthor" mode in Shrink, and backup only the main movie for best quality:
1. The video files created by Shrink are placed on your HD individually, so you need to create a main folder with your movie title, then create sub-folders - AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS. Place the files created by Shrink in the VIDEO_TS folder, but import BOTH sub-folders into the ImgBurn source window.
2. When I added the sub-folders, it did not automatically calculate the file information, so do this: File > Calculate.
3. To save on wait time, unclick "Verify". It either worked or it didn't, and you can just pop it in your DVD player to check that.
Otherwise, it worked great, and didn't take too long to burn.

Quote:Not quite sure how that happen for you, the files being placed individually, but as long as you check the box for DVDShrink to create Video_TS and Audio_TS folders and have the destination folder set properly then that should not happen. Also when choosing the files to burn with ImgBurn all you have to click is the destination folder not the subfolders.
