Hey everyone! New person around here, I searched around the forums but haven't been able to find an answer to this odd issue.

I have 3 drive controllers, 1 is the first one, actually paired to the correct motherboard. The other 2 are spares that I had picked up. The drive controller for the motherboard (the matching ones) will read disks and authenticate just fine. Here is the odd issue. It will not spin the motors that take/eject the disks. At first I thought it was the drive itself. Just to test I swapped drive controller boards with another unit. To my surprise the eject/loading gears worked just fine.

What do you guys think could cause this to happen? Everything (visually) seems to be okay on the drive controller board but it doesn't seem to want to load/eject disks.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
