Between the 40GB, 60GB and 80GB PS3
Which is better-MINUS The PS2/PS1 compatibility feature, i don't care much for playing PS2 games because i already have
So which is better(Not considering which has the best backwards compatibility)
Which has the most ports such as USB ports
Which can read flash cards such as Memory sticks, SD cars ect.
Stuff like that.
Please inform me. Thanks.

That site really needs to be stickied somehow.
Anyway, 40GB is no longer available, and 80GB is the 40GB with more space, so... yeah...
Anyway, you look on that, you see that the 60GB is still, by far, the best of the models, if you're going by how many slots it has.

And the 80GB Specs:

* CPU: Cell Broadband Engine

* Main Memory: 256MB XDR Main RAM
* Embedded VRAM: 256MB GDDR3 VRAM
* Hard Drive Disk: 2.5? Serial ATA (80 GB HDD)
* Main Input/Output: USB 2.0 (x4), MemoryStick/SD/CompactFlash
* Ethernet: 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T
* Bluetooth: 2.0 (EDR), Wireless Controller (up to 7)
* Wireless Communication: IEEE 802.11 b/g

* HDMI: HDMI out ? (x1/HDMI)
* Analog: AV MUTLI OUT x1
* Digital Audio: DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL x1)
* Disc Drive: Blu-ray/DVD/CD (read-only)
As you see, both have the same amount of memory card and usb slots, the 80GB just has a larger HDD, of course.

Of course, but I thought the kid (guy?) was referring to the current 80GB specifically. Not the older version that used software emulation.

Actually, KajNrig had it right. The OP specified the current production run of 80GB models, which have only 2 USB ports and no card reader.
