I had the same issue. Did another scan 24 hours later and got sly 1 back again. Just do another automatic search.

I get all the other channels no problem its the new ones that came online the other week. I cant understand it coz my mates box which I flashed from my house using the same image and cable supply is getting them. Thanks Hamster I will try that as well, it seems like all the very knowledgeable fellows have now left the thread.

Drawflex - thanks for your advice on FTP'ing, I've been meaning to have a go for months and your guide has given me the confidence.
However........
When I go to my var/keys, I don't have any roms to delete - in fact all I have is the following:-
Autoupdate.key
camd_cfg
Keylist.txt (which gas a 0 value)
Not sure what I am doing wrong or what I am missing from my keys directory in the first place (though after keychange at end of Nov, I looked in my var/keys using Tuxbox and my keylist.txt was empty! Could I be using Filezilla incorrectly when trying to edit add the Nagrarom7.bin into the Keylist?
Could someone please point me in the right direction - any ideas will be gratefully received?

hi ive successfully flashed dreambox500c using dreamup and back up image but me mates got dbox it says the back up is out for that
aswell so if i flash doin it the same way is that ok with nullmodem cable let me no cheers

Not to worry now buddy i`ve worked out how to ping the dbox and get the ip addresses for the router & box and flashed the image using FLASH IMAGE and it now works perfect.

I remember hearing a while back that you can arrange channles into bouquets via FTP, anyone shed any light on this... after a new flash it takes ages to re-organise one-by-one.

drawflex, I use a tool called DreamBoxEdit (available everywhere)
Very easy.
Just download the channels.
Make edits on your PC by dragging and dropping and create bouquets, move channels around, rename etc..
Then upload channels back to the box.

Cheers for the reply Drawflex. Nothing showing as var_init/Keys. I have put the Nagrarom7.bin in the Keys folder, so it looks like this and this doesn't work:-
Autoupdate.key
camd_cfg
Keylist.txt (which gas a 0 value)
Nagrarom7.bin
I know the easiest thing would be to flash with new image and that will get my channels up again, but I want to start using the Dreambox to it's full potential so I can wait if it means getting more out of the Dreambox experience in the long run. I need a little help though.
Do any Dreambox expert users have any ideas what I could do to get up and running by adding new Nagrarom7.bin method please?

This will work as a sat image but in order to get all the channels you need to cardshare.
Google up on it as its a bit taboo to talk about.

hello lads i hope you can help me , my dbox is all flashed but ive lost my sky box office . ive tried rescanning and still no joy. the boxing is on tonight and the only channel is advertised on is the fraud channel . can anyone help me please.

I think that you will find its called sbo either sbo ( ) or (sbo) I checked earlier today so deffo there mate.

zappp64 - thanks for your pointer on installing the new Nagrarom - all working - so easy when you know how - cheers!
If anyone is thinking of using FTP, I just copied (using filezilla) a film I recorded on my 600C over to my PC and played it back perfectly with Nero Showtime! I guess I'm just skimming the surface with whst these boxes can do. Happy days!
