Hi Mark how's it goin,i have only flashed my box once before from what Chris gave me and others back in the summer.. do i just plug null cabel in and flash the image above? I do not fully understand can you help me please?

Yeah My Dreambox is still working fine here in Dublin with Chris's latest null modem Image
Mine is not working because i can not save the image, i am wondering looking at all the threads on here for hours now that if i have n*l mail like some others i can not open the file(4rapid share) to save and if i could which i have tries a couple of times now what do i scan? N*l Ireland or Brutforce UK?
Sorry to be a pest can someone pm me or send an image i can flash on to my box using dreamup?

Hi Could anybody advise me on a simple fix for the dream multimedia dm 500 c. just lost all the channels today and cant get them back by re-scanning and restarting it. thanks

Hello,
I have a Dreambox T, trying to download Chris's Image ( thanks chris by the way, much appreciated) but cannot sign up to that Megadownload site. Have tried several different user names and keeps coming back that they are already in use. Is there an easier way. Thanks

New fresh images No double Channels Added today
Right heres the crack guys. Everything you need is in this image simply go to menu and Autosearch transponder. Scroll right to the bottom of the list and choose your provider i.e Bruteforce UK Chorus etc.
Do a scan once this is finished go to a premium channel. I always select bravo.
Click info for few seconds restart the cam and WAIT!
Within a few minutes you will have everything.
GUYS I HAVE TSETED THIS BEFORE I POSTED IT UP SO I KNOW IT WORKS.
Also i deleted the keys from the keylist.txt as it rolls and adds its own keys for your provider so you will only have 2 lines in your keylist txt.

exactly
plug in null modem cable.
uncheck use network box
click connect
switch on dreambox
click flash and select file
select no when asked if you want to perform a flash erase
wait .................
restart the dreambox
scan service
restart the evocam
put onto strong signal channel

Thnaks guys adn a big thanks to Chris,I have two questions as i only have my works computer to do this as my home one will not down load(anothere problem)so i will not be able to check this until i go home.
What do i do with the image how do i open this and save as a file before i flash it?
And secondly how to i turn off/on the evocam?
Thanks again and i know my little girl would be very happy if i can fix this.

once you have followed chris' link you will have to put the code (normally 3 digits) into the security check nox at the top of the screen.
wiat for the time out for free download to pass.
click download
click save (if you save this to your desktop it will be much easier to find and flash later on. you can always delet or move to another location later)
the file will appear on your desktop.
later when you flash using dreamup you simply select the file. i do not know and have never tried to open the file on my computer, chris is the programmer/hacker not me. maybe he can help there.
turning the evocam on/off used to be done by pressing the blue button on the dreambox remote then selecting ok. this would turn off and restart the evocam.
on chris' latest image this is now done by pressing and holding the info button on the remote for a couple seconds. pressing the ok button will then have the same effect as above.

All the software and instructions are here mate you just have to look. infact the new image created by cg scott is about 5 posts above yours

Right Markarman, I am about to connect the PC to the box using the ethernet cable and have also downloaded CGScott's latestFlash Latest Image to my desktop! What's next? Sorry for the thick questions but some of us here are just not as tech savvy as others!

Chris I would just like to say thanks for all your time in dealing with all these issues people have posted.......got the box working last night the picture quality was excellant.......got a friend to do it before but I read through the forum yesterday and flashed the box last night again may thanks for your help
