DVD Shrink - file not found error

After copying a movie (Speed Racer) to my hard drive using DVD Fab, I opened DVD shrink to shrink the files. Upon hitting "open files" and clicking the folder containing the movie files, I got an error that said "system cannot find the file specified" (video_ts.ifo file). The file (video_ts.ifo) is there but DVD Shrink does not recognize it. I tried opening up a previous movie's file and it worked fine. The one thing is that I just updated my DVD Fab to the newest version. Is there something I need to do?

Hi,

you need to keep on clicking the movie file till video TS file is found, and then shrink can open it.

I have the same problem. I used DvdDecrypter to rip the dvd and it wont fit on one DVD-R. I tried this and when I go to the folder where I have my dvd, it says the same thing that happened to him. I tried doing it about 15 times and it never worked and found the file. Another solution would be great.

Re-rip the dvd - you can get this error when you have a bad rip.

DandaMan5 - rip w/ DVDFab Decrypter. It's still updated to handle the latest copy protection whereas decrypter is not.

Still a problem then run the files through FixVTS - guide or vobblanker - dvdfab & vobblanker guide.
