I have uninstalled dvd shrink and reinstalled it several times. It had been working fine, but with some of the new movies I was unable to copy. Now each time I click on dvd shrink it locks up my computer. I have to hold the computer on/off button down to shut off my computer and then restart it.

1) decrypt to HDD with dvdfab HD (free version) Or use paid for version
2) process files (all) with fixvts
3) shrink files with dvd shrink, output as iso/image to HDD
4) burn iso/image file with IMgburn

@Bryston....his problem is that he cant use shrink....But if he uninstalls and re downloads it from your link, that might help.I know that imgburn works well when others dont...it seems strange that lately a lot of users suddenly cant use stuff that has been fine for ages...Happened to me and co incided with some nast malware that was about in early December.Or it could be xpsp3 or am i getting paranoid?!!

I use all of the programs that bryston listed, plus many others, and to date I have not had any problems associated with XPsp3. Of course it may blue screen tonight and never work again,LOL.

I too use all those and more w/ XP3 and knock on wood no BSOD :)

What's changed pc wise chiefrish since this started happening? Usually something has changed - ie installed new program, got a virus etc. when programs seem to go downhill. Did you install IE8 by chance?

Hi Binkie7 and Ferguj1....Im glad sp3 works for you!How strange! but then thats the wonder of windows...works for some but not others.Sometimes i read other users problems when using identical software to mine, and its frustratiing when yours works fine, and thiers dont.Hows it going chiefrish?
