I have managed to obtain a file for fred claus using rip it for me and decrypter, but when I try to input this file into shrink, it just closes. No error message or anything. It shows the preview for a few seconds and then just closes the program. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi,

no, I have not have this problem, as I ripped mine with Anydvd ripper.
Dvd shrink transcoded this just fine.

My usual process of dvdfab > fixvts > dvd shrink > imgburn worked great.

RipIt4Me/Decrypter may not have ripped this one good enuf for Shrink to handle.
So re-rip the file with DVDFab HD Decrypter. It's free.
Then open those files in Shrink.

DvdFab HD Decrypter is the way to go.

When done ripping process the files through either FixVts or VobBlanker before compressing with Shrink. Burn with Imgburn.

Worked fine for my backup.
