Exactly the same for me. Although I do use predictive text on a phone, I do my best to make sure it's spelt properly before I send it.

See I always try my hardest to use proper sentences but I often mess them up - I got an E at my first attempt at my English language GCSE and if I've got less then a C on my resit (I'm waiting for my results) I won't get into sixth-form and will have a lovely career at Tesco (I don't know what the US equivalent crap job is).
^Actually that's a good example I know there should a full stop or comma or something somewhere in there but wouldn't know where to start.
I could put something funny here but I cant be arsed. Now GO AWAY!

Think yourself lucky. As someone who got Bs at A-Level I can't even get a job at Tesco, too many other applicants.

And don't even get me started, am well qualified with a fair old wodge of job experience but due to the corruption and decimation of our once healthy job market, i have the misfortune to still spend i mean waste hours every day looking for jobs that just do not exist. I'd be ok if i was a Windows person as there's always obscene amounts of jobs for that, but very rarely any jobs that i'm qualified for. And even with the Windows jobs, as Sam says, there's way too many people going for the jobs.
And i'm even having to look for supermarket jobs as have been out of work for so long, but again there's always too many people going for whatever jobs. There's one jobs site that shows how many people have applied for each role, one Windows role was almost 400 applicants the last time i saw it, and it's still going i think. What a joke.
Can barely put fuel in the car, and the car moves about once a week now, if that. Prices per barrel of crude oil are quite low but will they lower the prices at the pump ?, no, and that'll be because we bailed out the banks and the coffers are empty so they need to keep clawing back money via fuel taxes.
Once i'm done looking for work each day i have a blast on GTA IV. I finished it months ago but a daily speed around causing death and mayhem helps relieve a bit of tension, i still get very angry though, i'm not one of society's stay at home not working people, i don't even go outside for fresh air most days of the week. Anyways, i'm just getting angry again so i'll stop there!. Back to GTA IV.

Talking of jobs a mate of mine was like 'OMG I've found you a job I want it but it says IT experience needed' so he gives me a bit of info on it and its a proper Saturday job at a PC shop with a fair wage. I get him to send me a link. I'm quite excited by now. Open the link and close it after only a glimpse the first thing it says is *the name of the company (which I can't remember)* Mac Specialist GRRRR ANNOYED.

Guys I can see your plight coming stateside awfully fast. Obama's hope and change will bring us to socialism Euro style. Unemployment near 10% really some say 16% and climbing. US is printing money. And Cap and trade and remaking medical care is just moments away. US fixing to flat line as with Europe. Dems-Reps all interchangeable incompetents.

Speaking of jobs,
I dread Monday mornings because that brings the freaded Monday morning influx of people looking for any sort of job. I will get approximately 15-20 people come in tomorrow morning looking for an application and an interview, many are from manufacturing, the airline industry, retail, medical sales reps, etc. Very highly qualified people looking for any sort of income to pay their bills. The last dishwashing job opening I had brought in almost 40 people in three days. Very scary for our short term future.

I feel for all you guys looking for work, since being retired 4 years years ago of course I would complain, I do not make nearly as much as when I worked but with this economy I am kinda considering myself lucky because I get monthy checks, I still belong to my Roofers Union of 35 years, I took a visit at my local hall early one morning to visit some friends there were 146 journymen signed up that morning waiting inside and out looking for work, only 11 men got out that morning, I haven't seen that since the early 70's with the gas shortage time.
I'm not gonna get into the blame game this started way before Obama, if his plan works or not will remain to be seen, the nitwit before him plans sure didn't work, I got myself into a little of a heated argument before on this subject about politics, but I know here in the states people are screaming about things turning social, Ive been to England twice in the past two years, what I have seen it's tuff for both our countries, as far as the UK's medical even though not perfect I would take it over ours any day, you can call it social or whatever, at my age with tons of medical issues of my own I have seen and experianced how both work as my Uncle at the age of 86 in the UK has his own issues, so I have seen how things work with my own eyes not just reading or what I see on the news, mostly thier full of crap anyway, see for yourself than make a decision.
I feel bad for most of the young guys at my union, so many are out of work, as most guys here in the states know most construction guys have thier own pickup trucks because of comfort, space, durability which we need, but now you pay high gas prices and pickups engines are not economical unfortunatly, most jobs I went to on average were 80 miles one way, how these youngers guys are doing it I don't know, hell filling up your tank every week can take half your paycheck and it's not always the case that you can share rides as most live far apart of each other or work on different sites to share gas money.
As I said, I complained about my retired checks before but now kinda consider myself lucky that at least I'm getting a steady paycheck, and I feel creaks hurt as I know your gas prices are a lot higher than ours. I just hope in the end things work out for all.

@Fred
a lot of the younger people are living on credit and not thinking very well. True story, kid next door is driving a large pickup to and from work similar to mileage you mentioned some days. Gas goes to $4 /gal last summer and the truck is eating his lunch with poor gas mileage, so instead of going out and buying a small gas efficient cheap work car(he doesn't need a truck for his work) he buys a $30,000 custom mini cooper station wagon. Looks cute, probably gets good mileage, but now he's underwater with a new car loan and gas is $2.25/gal. Wife is now pregnant and they're living with his inlaws. The younguns want it all right away.

Sorry, I give up on this one as well. I tried to explain to him that it's not the laptop, but probably just the DVD Drive/software.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-167/...op_help-786958/
"when yea buy a laptop in Ireland. all laptops are regions."
If someone from Ireland can clarify this, I would be glad to be educated on the subject.

AnyDVD would let you but it costs. There's a free way but I refuse to link him when it's the first result in Google.

I tried to help him but since he (apparently) couldn't get past the fact that it's the DVD drive and not the laptop that is region coded I decided he was hopeless.
Then he started on about playing video files and that confirmed that he didn't have a clue.

Yeah anydvd isn't free, so that would work then? It was just a guess. I just assume everyone already has AnyDVD.

The last time I came back from the UK my niece bought me The Krays, of course it would not play on any of my DVD Players it was region 2, I thought I would be able to change it with AnyDvd to region 1 or even region free, no can do, I e-mailed slysoft tech support, they also told me it can't be done with AnyDvd to my disappointment.
They did tell me about a link on Afterdawn called, Convert PAL to NTSC
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/...mpaign=20090723
After checking it out it was over my head, way to complicated for me, if I'm not mistaken even if you can do it it says something about the quality will not be the same something or other, anyway if somebody out here can figure it out let me know how it comes out was it worth it or not.
You cannot get The Krays here in the states as region 1, crapolla, one of my favorite movies.
