I've googled til I can't see straight and still have no answer.

Upon connecting to multiplayer and going into Find Player either for Team deathmatch or Free for All (whatever the game method) and select "Find Match" it always connects me to my own lobby and sits on "waiting for 5 players....". Yet no other PS3 game does this. I can connect fine if my friends invite me to their game.

Do I need to call tech support or is there some typical fix? I bought the PS3 and WaW yesterday. I have my PS3 in the DMZ of my router and even tried just changing the ip address, but here I sit in the lobby by myself.

I can be invited by a friend into any lobby full of players and play as normal. But for whatever stupid reason I can't choose "Find Match" and it find a lobby of players for me. It's retarded.

same happens to me,ive tried through router/modem same result,they big the game up saying great at this and that but dont tell you that you,ll never get to play online f**king a***holes

well i actually had it the other way around..i could find matches but i couldnt invite or be invited to friends lobby. i found out that before you play cod5, log out of your account and sign back on again. it worked for me

i almost have the same problem but i can't invite anybody to a private math it alwayz comes up as game session no longer avaible

I have the same problem it also comes up with game session no longer availiable when I invite or am invited by friends. lokote732 have you tried what H08 suggested and does it work?
