Hi all, ive been told that i need a new lens for my ps3 as it has stopped loading up my games when i put them in my ps3. Can anyone tell me where i can buy this lens and how much it will cost me. I live in Scotland. Ta
This is coming from a guy who hasn't had a problem with his PS3, so don't take it as the be-all-end-all, but I believe the only thing you can do is buy another, broken PS3 and swap the lenses. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe you can just but the laser assembly off of Ebay or whatever, but that's all I can think of right about now.
If you are speaking of the screw under the warranty sticker, all i use is a small flat head...(Very small)no special driver
You can purchase a laser off of eBay for about $70.00 now, they were a little cheaper but because of the demand people have raised the price.
You should remove your old laser first and check the part #
