Still Big problems with DVD Shrink 3.2 & Clone DVD

I am having a problem with DVD Shrink 3.2 Analysing is no problem. Encoding is no problem. But burn process failed at 8x. Next message tells me. Burning did not complete successfully. However all output files were successfully encoded and they are ready for burning with appropiate dvd burning software.
My next problem is with Clone DVD. Writing to video media was not successful. Details: Write DVD 10 11 W2.
All of the above problems are recent as a result of having to format the hard drive and re install software.
Any help out there would be most welcome

Thanks for the link to Imgburn. I think it's not for me as it's free to download but you then have to activate the download and that costs $39 a year. Think i'll try uninstall and reinstall or a different dvd as it was a bad media error

ImgBurn IS free. Don't click on the Express Burn link, but click on the Download tab at the top. That will take you to the page to download the correct files.
Or better yet, just download it from here at aD.

Thanks a bunch, i will try that link later on to-night as I'm off out the door. DVD Shrink is now running like a dream. I tried using a different drand of dvd and hey presto it's working. So this has me thinking that the batch of dvds I bought are faulty hence the bad media message error

Thanks for all your help. I followed the link in your earlier posting. Downloaded the Imgburn file and still enden up with Non-Activated message. Went to the help guide and Imgburn looks nothing like what I downloaded from your link. I have ended up with AVS Video converter. Click the link and see for yourself.

I have at this stage actually given up on ImgBurn it's not for me.

You clicked on the link for the download from Afterdawn? When is the last time that you scanned your computer for Adware/Spyware? Something is redirecting your link if you cannot download the right version.

I scanned the computer just 2 days ago. To be quite honest you have been very helpfull. But at the end of the day it's just not worth it. I have now uninstalled AVS Video Converter 6 twice at this stage. I followed your instructions by clicking your link and still ened up with the same download, AVS Video Converter 6. Not ImgBurn as what I thought I was going to get. It's 2am over here in Ireland so I'm off to get some sleep. Again thanks for all your help.

Ok. Sorry that the ImgBurn thing is not working out, I really have no idea what is going on there, perhaps we can come back to that later.

DVDShrink does not burn on its on, so what program did you have it set to use for burning? Nero or DVD Decrypter?
Also, if you are trying to use DVD Shrink to do your initial ripping that could pose a problem as well. Shrink has not been updated in quiet some time nor will it ever be. You should use an up to date ripping program such as DVDFab or AnyDVD.

I have both Nero and AnyDVD which I use. I should tell you at this stage that it was a bad media error message that I was getting. I did not know what this was as I had never seen it before. So yesterday I tried a different brand of DVD and DVD Shrink worked like a dream. I am now of the opinion that the first batch of DVDs are faulty, this was the batch where I was getting the bad media error message.
I tried using a different drand of dvd and hey presto it's working. So this has me thinking that the batch of dvds I bought are faulty hence the bad media message error
It appears that I am now up and running again.

Just a quick update on whats just after happening. I went to the downloads section of afterdawn.com and went to the ImgBurn links. There are two links for this download. I chose the first one, and guess what, I now have ImgBurn on my PC and its working like a dream. Not so sure about the download link you posted earlier in one of your threads.
