Hi - When I turn the PS3 the screen comes on with a message saying the hard drive needs formatted all data will be lost continue & has Yes or No. The controllers will not register on the console either wireless or attached through USB. When the PS button is pressed the 4 lights on the controller just flash at this point I get a quick flash of an error code
Connection Problem 80010201 - I have searched this but it usually relates to a network error. I have swapped the hard drive to another PS3 & it loads fine so I know that works & the controllers also work on another PS3. I have also tried restting the controllers & the menu after the 2beeps power on method. Has anyone else come across this problem before or anyone know of any fixes quicker than going through the Sony route.
