I've never heard of Shrink doing this. There isn't even an option to do such a thing.

Hi,
you may want to uncheck the option to split files into 1 Gb chunks.

Not everybody uses Shrink. I don't.
I just know how to use it but I never make a backup with it.

I know us regulars don't use it unless we're trying to prove a point or are stuck in our ways of including it in the shrink process after using another program to remove encryption... but what is with all the n00bs coming here and always seemingly using only DVD Shrink?

With that new pc,did you downgrade to Vista?
iluvendo: I also love the classic dvd shrink for main movie only. She'll do well over 90+% of the originals out there and enable anydvd in the background, she'll do over 99% of them.
Easy to use once your settings are correct.Setup to autoburn with ancient Nero 6 and it's a 1 program process even with anydvd running.
Does it get much simpler than that?
It is a resource hog and some machines have fits with dvd shrink.

I agree with Saugmon. Shrink is still a handy program, especially for those on a budget or those not doing enough backup work to make buying a retail program worthwhile. As mentioned, using AnyDVD and a supported burner makes the setup almost a 1 step process. AnyDVD is retail and a bit expensive. With DVDFab's free decrypter, it's a free process and as long as DVDFab keeps the free decrypter updated, the setup can do about all of the releases.
