So I used to use DVDshrink to create an .iso image for my DVDs. Now, when I burn them, they do not play on standalone dvd players, but will play fine right on my PC. I have tried multiple players, that have all worked in the past, and now, it's almost as if they think that the dvd is blank.

Any help? This is quite irritating.

Thank you in advance

Also, I have not changed ANY settings whatsoever in the program. Or with my computer, so I do not understand. I was thinking maybe something is running that my burner does like (because I also tried ImgBurn).

Well, I put one of my own dvd's into the drive, use dvd shrink to back it up and turn it into an iso. I try and burn the .iso file with nero (DVD iso burn) and it burns successfully on my PC. And then I put it into my xbox360, it loads the dvd but then it just displays the XBOX360 logo and does nothing, and I did the same thing with my PS3 and a regular DVD player.

Hope this helps

I have 7 but I assume it is in the same place, go to my computer, documents and settings, your name, then application data, Ahead, Nero Burning Rom and you will see the Nero History folder, open it and your log file is in there....copy and paste the last burn you did.

Yes, here, I just tried it again to create one because I couldn't find it. I also downgraded to Nero 7.

I took an .avi file and converted it to Audio and Videos files (DVD format) and burned those with nero, and it worked fine. I just can't burn iso's.
