ps3 connection bridge setup

iam using my friends wireless network connection,and i have the connection bridged for my ps3.the only real problem i have is i cant get the ps3 too relize its bridged.i setup the configuration like this:

ip: 192.168.0.105
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default router: 192.168.1.1
primary dns: 192.168.1.1
secondary dns: 192.168.1.1

mtu: auto
proxy server: do not use
upnp: enable

from what i heard i change the ip address: (my ip address) the default router(how you login to router)then the primary and secondary dns are the same(from ipconfig).i dont know what else to do to fix it.any help would be great.

I dont think the DNS should be the same as the default gateway...check with your friend to see what it should be set as.

does everything else look setup right?so the default router ip is what you login your router too?i did a ipconfig when i connected too it and it said the same.yeah iam still kinda lost.

All looks ok apart from the DNS address. If you log onto the router (from a PC, using the default gateway - 192.168.1.1) you should be able to find the DNS details in there somewhere. Mine are under the "System" tab, but it all depends on your router.

If you cant find it, let me know you ISP and country and I'll see what I can dig up for you.
