help, i made my ps3 have a static IP, but still DC from games

so yea, i bought killzone and i was getting dc'ed frequently so i made it static, still get dc;ed, so i put it in the DMZ and i still get dced, is very frustrating when i cannot ewven finish macth wit friends, but heres my set up
when maklin a static ip, does it have to be IN/OUT of the routers ip range?

Wired via Router (belkin)
PS3 IP: 192.168.2.131
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Router IP: 192.168.2.1 (range is from 1-100)
Pimary DNS: 68.87.64.146
Secondary DNS: 68.87.75.194
UpNp: enabled, but fails

anyone can offer sum thought into this

i tried to do it straight thru my comcast RCA modem, but i can even connect, id have to check again later tonight, but says "(private connections only)"

Look to see if your router has an updated firmware. I was always getting disconnected with my PS3, even when I was just at the XMB. So I updated the firmware on the router, and haven't had any disconnecting issues since.
