I installed Linux to my ps3. It works fine.
But i accidently erase original PS3 OS.
Now i cant turn back to PS3 OS.
I used the command
ps3-boot-game-os but dont work
How can i install Original PS3 Os to my ps3.
There isn't a way to erase the PS3 OS from the Drive. You could also try the command: boot-game-os
And you need to type that into the kboot, when it's booting. If that still doesn't work, then what you could do, is take the HDD out of the PS3, and connect it to a PC, then plug it back in to the PS3, and it will ask to reformat it. That however will delete the Linuxpartition, and you will need to start from scratch.
I can't recall if you need to actually go into Manage on My Computer, and see if it will see the drive, and format it there. Cause it WILL NOT show up in My Computer.
Also when you are turning on the PS3 hold down the power button until you here a second beep after the initial startup one. This will return stuff like your OS settings, Picture settings and Audio settings to default, return you to the PS3 OS and still leave you with Linux on your hard drive. To get back into your Linux from the PS3 OS it's System Settings>Default System>Other OS>Yes.
