May I know can DVD shrink convert VOB files to MP3 format? If not, any freeware that can? I've decrypted the DVD and would like to just burn the audio tracks from the DVD.
Since the disk has been ripped, run Avidemux and load the main title (usually 'VTS_01_1.VOB' is the first file).
When it loads, do this:
1 On the top menu bar, click 'Audio'
2 Select the Main track (a 2 channel stereo track if available)
3/4 Select the encoder > LameMP3 5 Configure the codec to set the bitrate.
6/7 Filter set stereo
8 Save the new audio - give it a full name e.g. newaudio.mp3
Hi, attar, I tried follow ur steps but I don't find any encoder at the audio, only have save and filter.
When I to file>load and click my Vts01.1, they prompt me spidermonkey ECMAScript error, not a ECMAScript try open it with file>open, so I open it with file>open and it prompt me" this look like mpeg, do u want to index it?
May I know what's wrong with my steps?

You are saying that you can run Avidemux (and without loading a file) click on 'Audio' and there is no 'Encoder' in the drop down?
Can you post an image?
Good day, Attar. I came to realize that I run the avidemux 2.4 QT4 could be the caused, so I uninstall the program and reinstall back, this time I selected both avidemux 2.4 GKT+ & avidemux 2.4 QT4 (haha because I'm not sure which one is the correct ones). When I open avidemux 2.4 GKT+, this time it came with the audio>encoder. But I still encounter when go to load project, it prompt me :
Spidermonkey ECMAScrilpt Error
C:\documents and setting\A10\desktop\kids song\video_TS\VTS_03_1.VOB: line 1:
Msg: SyntaxError: illegal character
Not an ECMAScrip file. Try open it with 'File'->'Open...'
So I just open with 'file>open', and the end result is prefect. BTW, it came with 1 MP3 files total of 20 songs together, anyway can I split out individually and make it 20 MP3 files? And what's the different between Avidemux 2.4 GKT+ and Avidemux 2.4 QT4? Thank you very much.
GKT and QT4 are two different interfaces for the program.
I haven't used the QT4, so I don't know if there is a difference in Menu layout and operation (although, from your experience, it would seem so)
The part about twenty songs on the video - when playing the DVD, are there twenty chapters you can skip through, each corresponding to a song?
If that is the case, the disk can be ripped to chapters, using DVD Decrypter.
A chapter could be dragged onto Avidemux and the audio saved as before.
Alternatively, when you load the original file into Avidemux, you can use the slider and A/B buttons to save each clip (just the audio) as before.
