Hello from Australia!

I posted in the other thread but did not get any response so now I'm making my own.

I have been reading through here and trying to figure out what problem my ps3 has. Its an 80gb console and it won't read anything. It will boot games from the HDD though. I have replaced the laser and that didnt work. I think it may be the Driver IC or the BGA chip, like in the other thread mentioned months earlier. Can someone tell me if reballing the BGA chip is swapping it from a another console (same specs) or just reballing the original? I have been without COD4 for like a year and its killing me!!! :)
