is there any way to add a summary and possibly a movie poster icon to the xvid movies on my harddrive

Is it on your PS3 hard drive? If it is, then you can go to a point in the movie and choose to set a "Preview" icon from there. But I don't think you can do any sort of still image icon...

If it's on an external hard drive, though, then you can't make any sort of icon. At least I don't think so.

In both cases, you might be able to edit the .avi tag (using abcavi Tag Editor) and add into the "Comments" part something of a summary. That seems like the only way you could do it to me.
