I recently replaced my KES-400AAA in my PS3. I think that is the correct model number. The unit was not reading discs. I could insert the disc and it would just sit there and not read it. After trying every option I could I decided to order a new lens and try and correct the problem myself. After breaking the unit down and replacing the lens, I thought I had things ready to go. Now my problem is that the drive will not allow me to insert the disc at all. The day before I could put discs in and take them out with no problem. Now when I insert the disc 90% in it still doesn take it. I can manually insert a disc but it will not read it. It does however eject the disc after holding the eject button down for 20 seconds. What did I do wrong? Apparently I have ruined something causing this to be a new problem. The warrantly was void so I thought I may as well give it a shot. Any ideas?

do a quick google search for ps3 disc sensor, and check that on yours, to make sure its hooked up right.
