is there a way to get my ps3 to play through my laptop's screen using hdmi cable i sold my hd tv and the ps3 was using the cable but now i have to use the avi jacks but the ps3 i guess is still through the hdmi so i can't see to switch it back and now i have no tv my laptop is running vista need help thanx

Only if your laptop has an input however just follow these instructions to set your PS3 back to your AV cables:

Turn off the power to your PS3 and then turn it back on again whilst holding down the power button (you will hear 3 beeps) until you see something on the screen.

This should reset your PS3 back to default AV settings.

We've had this question come up many times, and I've yet to see a laptop with an hdmi input and not just an output.

Are you saying that everylaptop that has a input can also output?
