This link will show you exactly how to open(forward) your ports, just select your router out of a list and go.

What ISP and what port, is utorrent an exception in any firewall? Is the port check at option's>speed guide green? Check at Port Forward for your modem, some need forwarding. This jpg may help too: http://www.plucky.org/component/option,c...le,torrent.jpg/

Is your router port forwarded to a port over 10,000, is UPnP disabled and Protocol Encryption enabled? Is your ISP here: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs Does a port check show green in your client? Static IP Address needed (only some router's), client an exception in any firewall (even Window's). Some modem's need forwarding too, check for it at Port Forward: http://www.portforward.com/english/route...routerindex.htm

Try downloading during low peak usage like overnight, sometime's throttling is off then. Edit: what program, I know of nothing that will help?

First of all is this.
1. I am very pissed off.
2. This is not working at all for me
3. i have no Port Range Forewarding
4. The screen shots dont show up.
5. When i put the i.p. adress i get some kind of completely different screen that says ZHONE which is my routers company. This doesn't work for me, does anybody know of any other ways?

Please HELP!!!!

Ok, find your router here (only one, hope it's your's), click on it, then find your client, click on it and follow the direction's: http://www.portforward.com/english/route...routerindex.htm May need a static address, guide there. Use Protocol Encryption if your client support's it: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 disable UPnP and use a port or port range over 10,000. Use the Default Gateway address at ipconfig/all and type it in IE, that will access your router login, part of static address guide, may not even be necessary. PS: I've had problem's with screenshot's too in the past and quit trying. You need to host them on Image Shack or Photo Bucket and use the URL from there.

Portforward.com has guides. Choose the program you want to forward and you will get a guide for it and the Netgear.

Do you mean you can't access port forward; that guide looks a little too complicated to just muck around in your router and hope for the best? Depending on your client, one port for start and end is adequate and use one or a range over at least 10,000, ISPs can block those under. 34450 has worked well here for some time, also you need a static address: http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm (hopefully this opens for you) and post back if your Default Gateway and DNS Server(s) are the same (you'll need a different set).
