DVD Shrink - Slows Audio

I am using DVD Shrink to compress a wedding DVD so that I can pull it into an editing program to add additional video. However, when I run shrink on it set to 80%, the video comes out fine but the audio that is with it is in slow mo. The audio plays extremely slow.

The original DVD was encoded with AC-3 audio.

Any ideas?

Why do you need to compress it, a long wedding? You don't need to decrypt anything so I would try a program like Nero Recode. It compresses and can burn. You can also add additional video. It seems a bit more suited for this type of work.

I actually would complete the compilation first and then compress the whole thing at once. This way you are applying only the compression needed and not over compressing with an arbitrary number assigned to a portion of your compilation.

As far as your Shrink problem goes, I'd try a commercial DVD in it first and try to isolate the problem a bit. AC-3 audio is standard fare and should not be a problem for Shrink. Just make sure you have the latest version.
