I am trying to make a back up of Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) using DVD Shrink 3.1.7. It'll run for a bout 3 seconds then pop up an error message stating that there is a read error??? It claims it cannot access the memory location of my drive??? I don't understand...if there is anyone who has encountered this problem please help!

I DID IT!!!!!!!! I copied TCM!!! Had a ton of problems, read post about IFO editor and changing drive positions. I'm using a Pioneer 107D-love the drive, TCM and DVD Shrink were not agreeing on this! I finally figured it out, i did turn off the preview, that fixed the error with the "memory" problem, I'd get a seperate error when trying to "backup" the movie. Something about Paremeters or wierd stuff. I like quality, so if I'm like all you other guys you cut out the extra stuff for space. If trying to copy just the main movie it would leave out VOB 4. So I finally opted for the whole movie, that did it. Still got a few errors from Nero 6 prior to burn, but burned it and it plays fine. Not sure if this helps....but worked for me.

Hi There, i am a newbie to all this and forums ,please bear with me.. backup of "The Core"
i received an error decoding with DVD Shrink -
"dvd shrink encountered an error and cant continue"
"Failed to write file "VTS_06_1>VOB" Access is denied"
Everything was fine up to there but never got past this to burn. have burnt a DVD-5 cd fine using dvd -decrypter ..
i did notice that i had preview with a check, i will try to do it again without preview.
but curious as to the particular error.. is it a new anti copy feature ? the VOB error i received is located in the extras. not the main movie..
How do i re-author and what do i need to keep in order to make it still work as dvd ... VCD will not work on my stand alone..
