yes there are lots of posts were I have posted very long posts. I don't know why everyone has a bad rep. with memorex, is it that I'm just getting the good kind because I have herd that there are good ones and very bad ones, I have never had this kind. I have had bad burns with Fuji.

What kind of fuji's have you had bad burns with,what was the media I.D.?
Memorex outsources there work to whoever will do the job cheap at the time,some of it good,some of it is real crap.
I dont like gambling on my media choices.

choice of course is always with the purchaser but sometimes you really have to weigh up the pro's and cons'.Good luck to you if memorex works for you but in the overall picture they dont work for most people and your's truly is among the people it dont work for.

philipman, it's cool if memorex is working for you, maybe it's just suited to your burner well....

Well good morning...I see that we are in another round of this one!!!

Look we all know that most of everyone here doesn't like using Memorex's. I can agree with everyone's opinion on their media. I just find it funny that philip and I are like the only ones who get good media. But as jim_dandy and andmerr have stated, it might be just we are getting good batches. Now, everyone knows I like em, I mean, hell, been catching funny insults all weekend, which was great, had a good time joking around!
But in the whole scheme of things, Memorex media, is of course given a bad rap here on aD. But oh well...who really cares, not me. It definately works for me, and about all the players that I have tried them in, and that has been over 30 of them, from APEX to SONY to PANASONIC. So, it all depends on where you get it and from where.
Anyways...let the games begin!
BTW...andmerr, thanks for the moron comment, if I didn't have a good sense of humor, I would swear you were insulting me! :P
In closing...MEMOREX RULES, scrap the TY dish set!

It all boils down to what works for you using your particular equipment and programs. Anything else is meaningless. Personally I have never used TY or Memorex. Hadn't needed to. I have something else that works for me. All the rest is like dogs going around the block marking their territory. Enough said. ;-)
