I know someone in carlow who had such a box.He changed the polarisation on the aerial and added the power transformer to the line like in normal digital services and now his TX is working.

Go into the system information on the box,if it says 23/11/07 chances are that your download worked allright.

Yes,
You need the power supply for the aerial. Why didn't you buy it from an Irish supplier where you would have been able to get support for it.

Sorry,
Mickeyred only just saw your post.It would depend on the type of communal system.I know someone in Oranmore on a cable system fed from a communal aerial. Its ntl so the Eurovox was your man for the job but the principle is the same.

Im sure you are MMDS but you need digital to be available in your area cos Anagolue wont get you all these channels and some parts of south wicklow (near arklow) are still Anagolue

A mmds aerial doesn't care about the subscription and deliver both analogue and digital signals.
If there is no valid subscription UPC/chorus collected the power inserter for the aerial.
Btw part of county wicklow is ntl mmds and not chorus mmds.

Wont work on N** MMDS, a standard Eurovox Max V will as it is DVB-C.
