You are probably running the despertar del cementerio which there is no need to run that.
Follow the guide as is. Does it say any where in the guide to run despertar del cementerio? Matter of fact it tells you to delete it becuase it is not needed.

Hi,
THANK YOU SO MUCH ^_^ your guide really Great & Easy.
I done downgrading my FW 3.80 to 3.71 M33-2 then I update to 3.80 M33
And then I update to 3.80 M33-4. My QUESTION: is ok I did not update to 3.80 M33-2 and M33-3? After 3.80 M33 ---> I update 3.80 M33-4 without update to M33-2 & 3.
One more Question ^_^ "How can I update to 3.80 M33-5?" Btw, do I need UMD to play ISO games with FW 3.80 M33-4?
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH ^_^
my email: removed

Let's see... I think I heard that you can update via the internet now, with the custom updates, but I just downloaded it off of a website. If you Google the revision 3.80 M33-5, you'll find a site easily. As for using a UMD, I typically keep one in there, and did find that when I wasn't using one, it would error out. With one in, things have worked fine. I don't think a UMD is required for homebrew software, though, in most cases.

omg you guys have saved my life. You guys totally rock!!!!!
I promised to put cfw on a mates psp. His one was a slim and I didnt know i needed a diff version to the one i previously used. Without your help guys I would have been up for $35 to get his psp unbricked.
Wouldnt work on my vista machine as previous versions but worked fine when i tried it on my xp machine.
One quick question, my Mem stick is 2 gig.I want to keep the magic stick but it seems like a waste of all that unused memory.
Can I put other things such as game backups on the mem stick without ruining its functionality?
If not I may look at buying a smaller card just for that purpose.

bigkevB81, I have a 4gig memory stick that i made to a magic stick. I still use it as a regular memory stick and it works fine. I used it to put cfw on my cousin's psp and a new psp I bought because it was cheap and I had no problems.

You need to make a pandora battery with custom firmware or buy a datel tool battery to run despertar de cemetario from the memory stick

Ok So I just updated both my Fat and Slim PSP to 3.80 M-33 4. The installation went fine on both PSPs but when trying to play a game on the slim, I got the "game could not be started" message. Everything works fine on the Fat PSP. Anyone know what the problem is?

at the xmb hit the select button.
then go to the option named "UMD ISO VIDEO MODE"
Its probably on normal.
Try the M33 driver or SONY NP9660
Those 2 seem to work with most of my games. If not try the other ones.
It just depends how a certain game was ripped i think.
See how that goes and post back

I'm having a problem after following the tutorial. After everything is done installing and I try to start up my psp slim normally, I just see a black screen for about 5 seconds and my psp shuts off after. I've tried going through the tutorial more than once and the same thing always happens.
When you turn it on and get a black screen try pushing the display button if that doesn't work shut it off and hold the right trigger and turn it on see if it'll go into recovery mode, if it does just exit and you should hear the opening sound if still no picture hit the display button one more time. If none of this helps I would re-install the cfw.
I tried re-installing the cfw multiple times as well as holding down the R button before I turn it on. Recovery mode didn't come up when I did that. Any other ideas?? Has this ever happened to anyone or am I the only unlucky one?

It has happened to me before following this guide.
Are you using vista?
Because setting everything up is mostly automated, i didnt see an error on one of the dos windows.
I ran everything again from a Vista machine and noticed that there was one extra thing i had to type Y to confirm.

@gtasta
I have no idea what you are asking. Try to be more clear.
@Driz1992
Try re-downloading the download again. If your using the media fire links make sure your downloading both parts and are placing them in the same download directory. If you still have issues make sure you have the most resent WinRAR program installed.
