I no computer freak, so excuse my ignorance. But I have only recently started to burn DVD titles. I have come across a problem, while using the DVD shrink program v 3.1. It has come up with an error message of
? Failed to read file ?E:? Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

And then with another movie.
CDvd CSS:: Read failed!
The reason is: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Can anyone help please

That error using Shrink usually means the original is dirty, scratched, or has damaged data files on it. Try cleaning the disc as well as you can and try again. Look to see if it has major scratches on the read surface.

I cleaned both the DVD drive with a Lens cleaner and the disk itself to no avail. If you have any further tips, please forward them on. Thanks!
