Can I shrink captured home movies

I've captured a home movie with Mydvd. It it is now an mpeg. But the mpeg is too large to put on dvd any help?

I have:
dvd x copy plat.
dvd shrink
dvd decrypter
dvd clone
mydvd

I really don't want any new software, already past my budget. Thanks guys.

You will first have to encode mpg to MPEG2 (unless it already is ?) as MPEG2 is a DVD complaint file format !
When it is MPEG2 , use something like TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert to VOB format ... then you can shrink down to 4.36Gb (ready for burning)

What do I use to shrink it with? I,ve only been doing this for about a week.

open up DVD Shrink and click on open files.browse to them and there ya go.
