Hey. I have downloaded eMule a few times and every time I can connect to a server OK, search for files OK, and I'm surprised at the amount of files there are, but whenever I want to download something, it takes at least 20 mins to connect and when it has i only go at 2kbs max. I'm on 512k DSL and i get 60-70kbs on kazaa, dc++ and mIRC.
Any ideas?

This is the major downside to eMule, it starts off slow. The way it is supposed to work is that you build up credits with other users, allowing you to jump in line when waiting in queue for files. Ive been using it for months, and my speeds have improved, i average about 10-15 kbs but they are nowhere near my kazaa speeds. But i use eMule because is has files you'll never find on kazaa, so i guess that's the tradeoff.
