dvd shrink 3.1 unstable and crashing

hi guys, I've searched the posts and can't find anythong to do with this question. I'm really stuck as everyone keeps going on about how great DVD shrink is, but mine keeps crashing and freezing all the time. It does it a lot and I've tried reloading it a few times. It's version 3.1. when i go, for example, from main movie to menus folders or when change the compression. It's a bit of a pain because there's a few things I'd like to try with shrink after reading some guides, but I've not got the patience for all the crashes.

try ripping your dvd with decrypter , then i see you have DVD2One 130 use that for your shrinking , as you know DVD2One 130 will shrink the full disc or the movie , its an xllent program i use it all the time with no probs .
it can do evrything shrink can do exept rip but as you have DVD Decrypter you have no worries there , as it is possibly the best ripping prog out.
also noticed you have Nero 6 , try Nero recode 2 for shrinking its made by the developers of DVD Shrink and its not a bad program ( you will have to use decrypter first though as Nero recode 2 isnt a ripper just a shrinker )
