Take your pick! My team, the Phoenix Coyotes, are in there :) Their old logo is the one right after the Mighty Ducks. I don't like the new one as much, they changed it because Wayne Gretztky didn't like the old one when he bought the team. Here's the new one.

Hey, Didn`t you see the Leaf last night. They will take it for sure!!
But for some odd reason I think the Flames will make it to the cup. So I vote Detoit out.
This rounds (call me nuts) Toronto, Calgary, Tampa, Colorado. I know Colarado is down, but a come back is on the way.

I'm a picksburgh boy. Thats pittsburghese Penguins are my favorite. They should do well next year. Only if that streak of their's lasted all season they would be in the playoff's and lemieux didn't play sick so the team could get insurance money. Go San Jose!!!

lol - who started another Hockey topic - now we're gonna have to listed to dRD, Prisoner and Nephilm and some others whine on each week when their team looses. Hockey isnt a sport anyway, just fat ice skaters messin around. A real sport -> now thats soccer. Hmmm...I wonder if this conversation rings a bell with Prisoner and dRD from last year...
lol - ;-)

Now thats a little over the top. Are you asking to be pushed in the boards! Also I must of blacked out, I don't remeber this last year. But oh well. Soccor is good, but Hockey is also really good. Honestly I am becoming more of a lacrose fan. Those games are good and violent.

Oriphus: Try to find a channel in the UK that airs NHL play-offs (I think C4 does it sometimes) and the current World Championships and read the game rules and you'll realize very soon that it is much more of a sport than soccer ;-) But yes, we went through this a year ago :-)

Oriphus: Have you ever played ice hockey before, and if you did, could you even skate? ;)
I have been playing hockey since I was 6, and now i'm 22, oh damn, i getting old. Anyway, i have tried soccer and found it's too bleeding boring. Sure you need lots of endurance and stamina and the willingness to take a good kick here and there, but hockey, that's more of a real man's game. Soccer, it's for those who can't play hockey.

This isn`t going to turn in to a Hockey versus Soccor thread I hope. But I still can`t find the thread comments from last year. My search skills are fading in old age. Maybe its all that Alzheimer`s I have been getting.
Quick comparison Hockey, push a player over and he punches you in the back of the head. Soccor, tap a player and he rolls around on the grass and crys like a baby saying he can`t walk. Ten minutes later back on the field.

I still remember Jeremy Roenick (when he still played for the Coyotes) getting sticked in the mouth to which he skated over to the box, spit out a bunch of teeth and blood into a guys hand and kept playing. Now that is one tough cookie. No tears there :)
The 'Yotes haven't been doing so well but I'd like to see the Avalanche take it :)

Bonjour vous aimez le français, hockey est bien mieux que le soccor.
You pulled your groin, thats rough. Got too excited on this thread did you:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/82112
Nothing wrong with crying, if your arm is sawed off and you get dust in eyes. I hate when that happens.
I don`t know about Colarado, but we`ll see. The Leafs have to win tonight.

'Yotes is short for Coyotes, as in the Phoenix Coyotes, my hometown NHL team :)
So the Maple Leafs doing well this year? I haven't been keeping up this season.

The Avalanche and their fans are the biggest bunch of whiners in the NHL. Poor Floppa this. Poor Floppa that. By the way Ave's fans, hockey didn't begin in 96.
Floppa Forsberg in a nutshell!!

Not another one :S - where are all these soccer haters coming from? How come its the biggest sport in the world by such a majority - something like 80% out of a polled 500 million across Europe and the americas - and yet every afterdawn user, bar a few hate it lol...
