Well, v7.52 is the latest for NThell & it updates fine.
I've tried 7.56 here recently but could not get all the channels.

ok how do i go about getting v7.52? is there any otherway? heard about an EMU but couldn't get it up?

7.52 & the software needed to communicate with the box can be got from Emo's link at the bottom of many posts on this Forum.
You will also require a Null Modem cable to connet you box to a PC.
All the Info you need is here in previos posts, everything.

yeah had a browse through brian1956's stuff, think it may be a little bit complex for myself... don't suppose there's a tec shop that'll update if i bring the box in? cos was looking at null modem cables and they seem a bit expensive

Behaner...you can buy Null Modem Cables for little more than ?5 in Dublin. Maplins charge ?13.99 but that's daylight robbery. The instructions from Brian1956 are really really easy to follow..do exactly as written in them and you will get your box to the correct level...

hows it going guys..just back from wend in uk..IM ON NTHELL and replay lite,version 7.52 and screen is coming up 1800 scrambled?? any ideas from any of you wonderful people out there..please help..im trying to get last 5mins of footie match..

There was a scare on Thur / Fri last re NTHell but all is OK at mo. Suggest you rescan and all should be well.. SundIreland are 2 nil up on Birmingham....

probably should have mentioned im a bit of dummy when it comes to this stuff..can you explain how i rescan it? thanks for your reply..appreciate it..super win for the sunderland boys..was over watching them play spurs 2 weeks ago..they were robbed!!

That would be your best bet!
If you know anyone with a working box you could clone it, it only takes about five minutes.

re-scanning is pretty easy but I would wait to see if the box will re-scan itself. Try unplugging the box for a few minutes and then put the channel on one of the sky movies channels. If you want to rescan go into user installation. Then into auto search & set your start frequency to 200.0 and your end frequency to 403.0 and search. Just make sure I've stuck the right frequencies down they should be on some earlier posts

thanks for the reply but still no joy, when i punch in the start/end frequency and search it..shows up "no program found". anymore suggestions anyone?

Search by Network ON
It should take no more than 5 mins to find all your channels.
When all channels are found select View.
Then go to one of the movie channels and wait for it to decode the signal.

A CLONE is an exact copy of a known working box.
You will need to have a NULL Modem cable & find someone with a working box (Software v7.52)
How to clone.
To do this just power up the one that has the 7.52 on it, we will call it "BOX 1) connect null modem cable to it.
Then with power OFF on second box (Plug Out) connect other side of null modem cable to this box (BOX 2). Then power up BOX 2. The light on the front of BOX 2 (the one you are copying to) will flash red/green approx every second for about 5 mins it will then flash rapidly when it is complete. When this happens it is complete. Unplug the power from BOX 2 and disconnect the null cable. You then have an exact copy of BOX 1 including password and favs.
