Sony has announced today that 3D games will be available for the PlayStation 3 starting tomorrow. Anybody with the latest firmware will have the ability to play them, but you will need a 3D-capable HDTV, as well, and stereoscopic glasses. So? This isn't going to much, sure not to me or anybody I've met. Also, there's no way the ps3 has the capability to render 2160p.

I didn't think you needed 2160? I thought it worked by sending 1080 to each eye consequitively, not simultaneously?
