DVD Shrink unable to read protected DVD

IveusedDVD shrnk down and copy ( wth Nero heaps of DVDs but I recently tried a New Release ( Honey) and DVD Shrink wont work because the DVD is Protected. how do I get aroud this?

As DVD Shrink has it's own ripper, I am surprised. But as you say it won't decrypt for editing, get a bigger hammer. DVD Decrypter is a powerful tool that everyone should have. Decrypt the file with Decrypter, load it in DVD Shrink and burn as usual. DVD Decrypter is free and can be found here on AfterDawn and best of all its free.

If you get the COPY PROTECTED error on a new install of Shrink, try this. Play the movie for a few seconds with your software player. Then stop the playback and open Shrink and try again. The few seconds of playing the movie unlocks the drive and should let shrink continue.
