I am experiencing the same problem with DVD43, and the message about a 30 day trial expiring. It worked fine initially, but now everytime I boot up XP, I get this message as the app tries to load in the system tray. I've uninstalled DVD43 and re-installed it several times, but still get the same error message.
If anyone has any additional information about what is causing this issue (another program that needs to be uninstalled), or what I could do to resolve it, it would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!!!

guys.. this is what the official DVD43 website says:
BEWARE: There is another version of DVD43 in circulation (ver 2) that is NOT FREE and expires after 30 days - it stops working and points you to a website to buy a third party product.
web address- http://dvd43.com/
so, even if ver2.0.0.7.1 is the latest, and moreover doesn't require the extra download of Patin-Couffin drivers etc etc., i think ver1.4 is the best bet for seamless functioning.
Of course, any comments are welcome
thanks

DVD43 is free if you get it from the official web site. There is also a warning on the site about a pay version, go read.

If it works leave it alone if it doesn't then be more clear in posing your question.

jackl1495,
I agree with Sophocles, not very clear on what you want. The version you've installed, v2.0 is the one you have to pay for after 30 days or so.
To remove it you'll need to uninstall it, and run a registry cleaner. I'm guessing it will be under DVD43 :)

As a registered owner and user of AnyDVD I really don't see a point in using it, it's interesting because it hides the copy guards from our detective 1 click transcoders, but so does every free ripper such as DVD Decrypter.

Does DVD Decryptor do the same thing as DVD43free? I have ICopyDVDs2 so I just wanted to know if both programs will work it, and if DVD decryptor is better than DVD43free or not?
