DVD Shrink Reauthor Mode / Nero Recode 2

I am trying to reauthor a number of my son's dvds to just include the movie alone. Some of his dvds have a number of episodes (ie Rescue Heros have 6 episodes on a DVD). When I burn just the episodes without any menus or extras in Nero or with Shrink, I can view the dvd however I can not skip tracks and when it is complete, I need to eject the dvd and re-insert it to start it again. Am I doing something wrong or is the functionality of skipping through the DVD or going back to the begining in something I am leaving out?

When you re-author with Shrink, you lose the menu functionality. It is retained with full disc. You have stumbled on one of the drawbacks of Shrink. I'm still learning DVD2One, it might be a choice for you though. I know DVDXCopy Platinum will edit out everything and leave the menus, I think there is now a trial version. You can use multiple programs to edit and then burn. Also, I noticed you have Nero. Check out the Recode2 function. You can read about it on their site.
By the way Doom9.org has some in depth guides for DVD Shrink. If you're going to use the program, you need to read a good manual. The part about menu function is in there. That's where I first learned.
