Using DVDXCopy 4.0.3.8 with a internal TDK 440N. I have updated the TDK firmware to the latest 1.0A

Read my DVD's just fine, get down to the last 60 seconds of writing my backup and failure. Here's the last few lines of the log.

00407400: Writing Movie:58312
00407400: Finished.
00407400: Writing failed (write error or process aborted):
00407400: Drive is not ready
00407400: Blank media has been removed


Seems to me as soon as it starts to close the DVD boom. Using MemorexDVD+R 4x

If this issue has been addressed, I do apologize. Thanks in advance for your response.

1) Make your burner the master if you haven't done so already
2) Make sure IDE settings are set to DMA
3) Try burning to +RW
4) If the +RW works, update your aspi layer then try burning to +R.
5) Get different Media :)
