I can't seem to get dvd cloner2 to read all the way through the source files. I always get a dspenty.dll error and it shuts down. So much for tech support from them. They never replied. I have a lite-on 811s drive, sonic my dvd software, windows ME os, AMD 1.2 GHZ. Other programs are awesome such as dvd shrink and decrypter. But I paid 60 bucks for this crappy software and haven't been able to burn once. Someone smarter than me please help!

60?, expensive

theres one or two things i suggest do a complete uninstall, wash your comp (window washer) scan for registry errors (registry mechanic) and then reboot
reinstall the program..... hopefully that will work

if it doesent then hopefully someone else has expreienced the same problem and they can help

Sounds like a plan but I downloaded the software and had to enter a code to finish the download. If I uninstall, will I be able to re-install?

I also agree with you, It's expensive but it's supposed to do everything in one click. Decrypt, shrink and burn.

dvd cloner 2 never did work for me either. Take my advice and request a refund from them within 30 days and keep documentation showing all correspondence between you and them. All they ever advised me to do was to download Nero and use it for burning as my problem was burning related. I said that I wasnt going to pay 60.00 to get their 60.00 piece of crap to do what it was supposed to already do. They then sent me a link to download and install and register Nero at no charge. I emailed Nero and told them about that, also emailed the Better Business Bureau and called my bank and contested the charge. I finally got the 59.99 credited, but dont expect any tech support at all. They are a bunch of goofballs(not that there's anything wrong with that). Request a refund now...download DVD Shrink and decrypter and to hell with dvd cloner 2!!!!!

I hear you. DVD Shrink and decrypter work beautifully
with my sonic software. I spent 5 days trying to get dvd cloner to work. I have no hair left.

I have DVD Cloner 2. The problem I had was... I couldn't get the program to burn. I updated my aspi layer. You could try that, ForceASPI is the easiest to install, and you could also install DVD43. I like it.. It's easy and the backups turn out great. It's always nice to have different ways to backup.

why u say DVD43? all it does is unscramble CSS, that wont backup unless u use a prog with it...

Loner,

Maybe Deeman's getting a encryption error. And DVD43 would solve that, and also wouldn't hurt.

Nothing I have tried to do to dvd cloner2 has worked so far. I've pretty much moved on by using dvd decrypt,DVD Shrink, and record now by sonic with awesome results.

Deeman,

what all have you tried??

Have you tried:

Making sure IDE is set to DMA?
Updating your aspi layer?
Updating your burners firmware?
Is your burner the master drive on its ide cable? And the only burner on that cable?

I took seemed to have been duped into purchasing DVD Cloner II. I've tried everything to get this thing to work. It never completes the "source scan" and I always get an error message. What the hell is dspenty.dll? All I know is I can't use the program. I've contacted their tech support, but from what I've been reading, the next best step will probably be to contact my credit card company. Anybody got any suggestions?
