i find it quite funny that you found Children Of Men pointless and crap yet you like Harry Potter and youre wondering where all the good directors are at recently.Children Of Men was directed by Cuaron, the same guy who directed Prisoner Of Azkaban.
there are plenty of good directors making films.you just have to look beyond the tv airing of trailers during prime time shows and the mainstream stuff showed in your local cinema.David Lynch's new film Inland Empire released a few weeks ago for example is fantastic and well worth the trouble of finding a cinema that is playing it.

When did i say harry potter was good?
Quote: eragon is good, It's just like harry potter, They skip a lot. Need to be longer.
watched children of men. I thought it was pointless crap movie.
When i said it's just like harry potter=they skip a lot from the book and they need to be longer to cover more detail from the book. I said eragon was good. Harry potter is ok.

Tadpole would be the prequel to AquaTeen, then you got Aquaman-which came out a long time ago as Man from Atlantis with patrick duffy.
It's just like Starwars IV/V/and VI came out way before I/II/and III. LOL

i saw the trailer for Derailed when it first came out and it looked good but for some reason i never got round to seeing it.maybe i'll rent it.
i urge you to give Children Of Men another shot.its a great film.theres nothing pointless about someones stunningly creative and imaginative vision of what the near future may hold for us if we continue to live our lives like we are now.

I enjoyed Derailed quite a bit. I think it's definitely worth a watch.
Last night I watched Wicker Man with Nick Cage and that had to be the absolute worst pile of festering dog crap I've ever seen. I'd rather get whacked in the shins with a bat than ever sit through that travesty of a film again.

ok so thats 2 recommendations.i'll rent Derailed in the week.
Neph, you need to think of Wicker Man as one of those so-bad-its-good type films and you'll find it hilariously bad rather than frustatingly bad and start to have fun with it.watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itmLkH322Ro

Went to see The Hills Have Eyes 2. Not bad at all, but not for the squemish, its quite gory much more so than the original which I though was rather tame frankly!

really?i saw the trailer and it looked crap so i gave it a miss.
ive never really enjoyed Will Ferrell in anything come to think of it.Ben Stiller is much better at that type of comedy than him.
that other guy was good in Napoleon Dynamite though.
is it really any good?
i watched Mulholland Drive earlier for the first time.ive had it for such a long time and never gotten round to watching it.i need to be in the right mood to watch a David Lynch film.man,it was a freakshow.i didn't understand it at all.strangely though,it was really good...and i have no idea why

I don't like Will Ferrell much either but I've seen some snippets of Blades of Glory that were pretty funny, still, I think I'm going to pass.
I know its not a movie but has anyone been watching the mini-series "The Tudors"? Jonathan Ryce Myers is a better actor than I previously thought. (He plays a young Henry VIII). It really is quite good but what I don't like about those series is that fact that you can't watch it all at once but have to wait for the next installment; a good way to get ratings, I guess. They had this outtake where Myers was doing his Elvis role while dressed as Henry VIII; it was quite funny.
