alrite i know many people have this problem with a slow bittorrent... but i went to www.portforward.com and did everything it told me to ...
i have a cable modem 100 mbps and a router Netgear MR814 v2 and i did everything it told me to...and i read someones reply saying that his downloads go 100kb/s while mine still barely go to 10kb/s can somone please tell me how to make my downloads go faster?

haksan, hey man! How long are you giving these downloads? If a download is just new and there are a lot of leechers trying to get their share of the overall bandwidth in use for the torrent, it can take some time before you'll ever achieve your maximum upload capabilities!

I had the same problem but i using Torrent Storm and I get more than satisfactory speeds. If you can limit your global upload speed, limit it to 15kb/s and also limit max connections to 10. If you cant do this with your client get Torrent Storm. If you Use WinXP try turning the built in firewall off, if you dont have another firewall use Zone Alarm and allow ports 6881-6999
