GFI Software researcher re-assures regular PS3 gamers.
Last year, a huge PlayStation Network (PSN) data breach affected so many people that apparently any news of a new hack can lead to users getting worried. Chris Boyd, senior threat researcher at GFI Software, said that the incidents lately will not affect regular gamers.

Im GregoryRasputin, some people on this website will know me as the asshole news writer on PS3HaX, i know all the ins and outs of the Ps3 Scene, i have had to post on numerous websites that there is zero risk to PSN from this new hack.
All this crap was started by misinformation by Eurogamer, then it went on to scare mongering by several other sites.
Als whilst what some of what this so called expert says is true, there are other parts which aren't...
The passphrase will be changed yes, but once its changed, it will be released into the Ps3 Scene again, so the chance of cheaters on PSN will rise, but then again CFW users on 3.55 have had PSN for 6+ months
So...question...how many actual mods to cheat (I guess like autoaim or invincibility cheats) are there out in the wild due to the CFW hack? Are people actually developing these cheats?
I don't really care one way or another, but I'm curious if this angle to scare gamers has any real teeth in it or if it's just a scare tactic.
